Prince Phillip from Sleeping Beauty

Info. As with most of G-Mal's costumes, this one stemmed from me cosplaying as something and needing an accessory on my arm (in this case, Prince Phillip to my Briar Rose). Briar Rose was originally made to wear to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween (which G-Mal was unable to attend, sadly), but when Lionel planned a shoot in San Diego, I thought it was a good opportunity to whip up a Prince Phillip costume to go with my Briar Rose (since Rose was the only new costume I had available for shooting).

Just like Briar Rose, I put zero effort into making this costume. I waited until the day before the shoot to start it, and a succumbed to ghetto techniques such as painting a pre-existing green hat red, rather than making a hat. (Though, now that I think about it, painting a pre-existing hat was a clever idea and saved me an assload of time and frustration...) Luckily the costume is fairly straightforward, and whatever the costume lacked in construction, Lionel's epic photos more than made up for it. And look! We have a Samson! How cool is that?? Seriously, though, G-Mal wearing tights = FOR THE WIN.
